Catherine Morphis
Catherine and her husband Matt have raised four children, the youngest of whom battled cancer in 2022-2023. Catherine knows that the only way to fight the insidious disease of pediatric cancer is to connect patients and families to resources and to passionately and persistently show up. She was inspired to create this non-profit while awaiting the news of, and then responding to, her daughter’s lymphoma. At the 2022 Compass Real Estate Retreat she was surrounded by thousands of collaborative and creative entrepreneurs including the web developers who would become her partners. Once home in Richmond, the local Compass family supported her family’s journey. The opportunity of our age is to bring together high-tech with high-touch to create profound solutions.
Catherine leads The Catherine Morphis Group at Compass Real Estate in Richmond, Virginia. She is a former humanities and literature professor with an MA in humanities and a PhD fellowship at UTArlington where she completed her coursework with highest honors and was ABD.
